ARTECHOUSE is looking for a seasoned PR pro with a minimum of 8 years of media and public relations experience within the arts field and a portion of that time spent at an agency.
Head of Media Relations & Communications will lead all press communications for ARTECHOUSE, this includes representation across multiple locations and visibility for key executives. This role will focus on building strong, integrated media engagement and coverage across both national and international media channels to strengthen positioning and brand awareness to drive future growth through multiple media channels. This candidate will also work with the executive team on building brand awareness, establishing ARTECHOUSE as the leader in the digital arts arena.
In addition to the day to day activities such as exhibition and new location openings, partnerships, business announcements and brand extensions, this person will work closely with our PR and creative agencies to develop integrated communications strategies for brand campaigns, and be the spokesperson for the brand.
Proven track record in developing media plans and programs for fast growing multi state organizations
Proven experience in developing, leading, and maintaining a public relations strategy and robust promotional programs to support high growth and positioning
Experience writing communications plans, strategic plans, media reports
Proven track record of success in media relations and social media; exceptional public speaking, writing, and editing abilities
Ability to balance short-term objectives and long-term vision and work simultaneously to deliver on both
Self-starter, who is also highly collaborative and a strategic thinker. –Creative problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented department. Ability to work under pressure.
8+ years experience in public relations and communications role for a reputable museum, publication, PR agency, art gallery, tourism organization or cultural institution.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field, with master’s preferred.
