The British Shop is a leading Fine Art & Antiques shipping and storage company with operations and warehouses in Bronx, New York and London, UK. We seek an experienced International Shipping Coordinator to join our New York team. Established skills and proven work ethic will determine base pay rate, with room to advance in our growing US business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Quote and coordinate domestic and international shipments
Liaison between company and shipping parties such as customs brokers, agents, private collectors, galleries, auction houses, artists and interior designers
Arrange collections, deliveries, packing, crating, etc.
Prepare and process all necessary shipping documents
Invoice jobs including customs import fees, duty & taxes
Enter and update shipping jobs in company’s freight management system
Manage multiple project files simultaneously
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Effective time management and commitment to working as a team
Knowledge of art and antiques shipping standards
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
Excellent computer skills, proficient in Outlook, Word & Excel
Outstanding attention to detail
A minimum 2 years’ experience with international shipping standards
Knowledge of legal documentation associated with international shipments
