Marketing & Communications Manager

ARTECHOUSE is looking for experienced, results driven entrepreneurial type leaders to head all of the marketing and community related activities at individual locations - DC & NYC. This includes digital presence, traditional marketing, creative design, public relations efforts and strategic marketing partnerships, in support of the organization’s goals.

This position is exempt. Compensation commensurates with experience.

Position is based out of Washington, DC location and supports DC operation.

Responsibilities

Core skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach

  • Resourceful, design-minded, analytical and creative

  • Ability to write/edit in a variety of writing styles, draft materials on a wide range of topics, with strong editing and proofreading skills

  • Aware of current marketing trends across all medium and categories

  • Ability to identify and exploit emerging trends and technologies

  • Experienced with paid media and advertising

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution.

  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and familiar with Wordpress.

  • Quick to adapt and emotionally intelligent

  • Background in strategic marketing/communications management or journalism role

  • Knowledge of local calendars and arts/theater scene is a must

Requirements
  • 5+ Yrs of Relevant Experience in Arts/Theater Marketing

  • BS/BA in Marketing or Communications
