Standard Sculpture LLC is a small Los Angeles based sculpture fabrication company that provides custom fabrication, paint finishing, design and engineering services to local and internationally known artists. We are seeking skilled and experienced metal fabricators to join our team and assist in the construction and fabrication of metal sculptures.

Fabricators are responsible for all aspects of project execution including cutting, assembly, welding and finishing. Must be experienced in TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminum, experienced with MIG welding mild steel, comfortable with working with power tools in a shop environment, comfortable with precision measuring tools, capable of highly refined finishing work with a high attention to detail, and able to work from fabrication drawings and blueprints. Experience rigging and forklift operation are a must as well as the ability to lift and move heavy objects (50+ lbs). Familiarity with AWS weld procedures is a plus.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals capable of creative problem solving and tackling challenging fabrication activities. Must be clean and organized and be able to work in a deadline driven environment. Other fabrication skills and ability to adapt to a wide range of projects is a plus.
