Office and Digital Manager

The Chicago Woodman LLC, based in Belen, New Mexico, is seeking an Office and Digital Manager to assist with multiple tasks associated with running the studios of artists Judy Chicago and Donald Woodman. Duties involve knowledge of computer systems and technical know-how, including working with an artwork database and assisting with digital media organization. Ideal candidates will have prior knowledge of website maintenance and social media management, experience working with digital video and photo files, the ability to learn quickly on the job, and a background in either studio art or art history.
This position is part time (three days/week) with the option to move to full time if appropriate.
Salary: $25,000/year for part time position. Full time salary to be negotiated.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Office work:
Providing tech support for office when needed, i.e. updating phones and laptops, installing computer programs.
Creating and maintaining a social media calendar for Instagram and Facebook including editing videos and image files for social media and promotional use
Assisting with shipping and receiving
Keeping an up-to-date calendar of events, interviews, and other meetings
Updating websites, bibliographies, and other records
Maintaining office supplies and workspace
Archival work:
Organizing image files and assisting with updates to the collection management database
Processing and organizing slide film
Organizing paper and digital files
Desired Skills
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe PremierPro
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Experience with Wordpress or other website design software
Ability to create dynamic social media assets
Must be detail oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
