Seeking professional, focused and ambitious person to aid in day-to-day operations. Position requires a proactive problem-solver who is excited by a fast-paced environment and the prospect of multiple and varied responsibilities. Working with the owner, senior associates, and sales associates, the Operations Associate will assist with every aspect of the ongoing growth of the business, particularly with handling and storage of large photography collections. If looking to build entrepreneurial and operational skills, while learning about and building relationships in the worlds of art and business, this is the job for you.
Manage Operations staff of inventory associates and packers
Communicate with clients, museums, galleries, printers, vendors and partners
Art handling and packing, and the ability to suggest ways to streamline the process
Manage inventory control of client-owned art
Assisting the team with workflow of art sales, donations, etc.
Coordinating inbound + outbound shipments of art and warehouse supplies
Ongoing office and operations support
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with art handling
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to lift 40+ pounds
Proficiency with Artlogic, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products
Valid Drivers License and ability to drive company vehicles
Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience and skills
