The Cultivist is looking for a talented and proactive candidate to join their New York team as a part time Graphic Designer. As a quickly growing business, The Cultivist is a fast-paced environment for learning about the art world. This position will provide the opportunity to work with a growing team and to learn more about the access The Cultivist provides for our members, in addition to the latest exhibitions and events taking place in the art world. The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to create dynamic and on brand virtual and printed materials.
Compensation:
$20/hour
This is a part-time position and will not be eligible for benefits
Responsibilities
Work with our Senior Designer to create engaging and creative marketing materials across printed and digital platforms
Create and collaborate on collateral such as evites, event cards, menus, newsletters, and brochures, among others
Requirements
Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma)
A portfolio showcasing strong typography, color and image skills
Organized, collaborative, and able to work to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills
Availability to work Mondays 2-6pm EST, Tuesdays and Fridays, 9am-6pm EST
Can begin immediately
Some flexibility to handle urgent requests remotely would be ideal
