• Coordinating logistics and schedule for installs, exhibitions at two gallery locations, and art fairs

• Shipping and insurance assistance/ guidance for all sales (domestic and international)

• Maintaining and organizing physical inventory on and off site

• Maintaining digital inventory and archive, using WrkLst and Google Drive

• Performing basic packing requirements for storage and shipping

• Physically assist with installs, de-installs and hiring additional help as needed

• Receiving or releasing shipments (sometimes at irregular hours to meet deadlines)

• Liaising with artists on best handling and install practices for their artworks

• Coordinating framing and production and addressing condition issues as needed

• Maintaining & creating records of condition reports, unique artwork needs/instructions, fabrication and framing specs, and vendor lists

• Writing consignments, loan agreements and Certificates of Authenticity

• General facility maintenance and coordinating with vendors

• Stocking the gallery office and packing supplies

• Handling the Accounts Payable and logging general and exhibition expenses

• Updating records for accounts billable

• Minimum of 2+ years in shipping

• Additionally, 1 + years registrar experience greatly preferred

• Art Handling experience and strong knowledge of best practices

• Experience coordinating art shipments domestic and international

• Experience managing exhibition installations and scheduling

• Experience managing freelance workers

• Experience with digital art management systems, WrkLst preferred

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure

• Excellent organizational and writing skills

• Self-starter, hands on and extremely detail oriented

• Interest in working closely with our artists and clients

• Working knowledge of Acrobat, Mac platforms and G Suite

• Car

Salary commensurate with experience: 50 - 70k
