Production Coordinator for Moonlight Arts Collective

Who We Are:

Moonlight Arts Collective is a continually evolving community of like-minded artists who “moonlight” to create artwork in all forms. An expedition in collaboration showcasing specially curated original artwork exhibitions, unique artist editions, artist talks, events and much more.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate for the Production Coordinator role would be adept at execution and maintenance of the on-going content and product demands for an e-commerce fine arts business. We are looking for an organized team player, with attention to detail and a strict adherence to production deadlines.

Strong background in copy editing, social media engagement, and e-commerce. Experience in Cultural and Fine Arts is highly preferred. Ability to work autonomously, as well as within a collaborative team setting.

Ability to work with remote teams is a must.

This role works closely with: Production Director; Production Manager; Operations Department; customers, outside vendors

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Production department liaison, main point of contact with vendors and customers
Assisting Production Manager with copy for descriptions/decks - internal and external messaging
Research specific subject matters for the collections, artist interview preparation
Copy edit/writing and data entry for website content
Draft copy for weekly newsletter content
Social media follow ups - in company branded voice/narrative
Email list - segmenting and maintenance ahead of release schedule
Update project management software with task and inventory status
Sales and inventory report compilation for review and analysis by team lead and finance dept
Address customer service inquiries expeditiously, via email
Executive team support within department
Some light artist communications
Feel comfortable speaking about the mission and culture of Moonlight Arts Collective in the greater Arts Community
Create manual orders in Shopify, as needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills:

Customer service experience required (1-3 years)
Thrives working autonomously and with remote team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external correspondence
Strong ability to multitask, problem solve and skilled in time management
Responsible to mind and deliver on deadlines

Experience:

1-3 years customer service experience - required
1-3 years experience in e-commerce product copy - required
Experience in working with Shopify - required
Museum or Art Gallery experience preferred
English or Journalism background a plus

Adobe Photoshop - required
Shopify - required
Verisart - preferred
Klaviyo - preferred
Social Media Platforms - preferred
