Studio production assistant for a multidisciplinary artist exhibiting at Venice Biennale 2026, based in Downtown Los Angeles/Art District. Hands-on production work across prints, physical art, digital, AI, film, and photography. Primary focus over the next 30 days is helping complete a body of work for upcoming gallery studio visits. Ongoing work includes social media production for the studio’s AI-native culture lab in DTLA, and assorted digital production tasks. 1099 contractor, part-time, in-person at the DTLA studio. $25 an hour
Responsibilities at the studio include:
Daily hands-on production across multiple media including prints, physical fabrication, digital work, AI-generated work, film, and photography.
Preparing, printing, mounting, framing, and finishing artworks for upcoming gallery studio visits.
Documenting work in progress and completed pieces through photography and cataloging.
Producing social media content and posting , the studio’s AI-native culture lab in Downtown LA, including capture, editing, posting, copywriting, and account management.
Supporting ongoing studio projects including and other digital and physical production tasks.
Varied day-to-day tasks typical of creative production in an active multidisciplinary artist’s studio, working under the direction of the artist.
A successful candidate would ideally have the following qualifications:
LA-based with reliable transportation; comfortable working in person at the DTLA studio
Comfortable with prints and physical art production: printing, cutting, mounting, framing, basic fabrication
Adobe Suite or equivalent graphics and video programs; DaVinci Resolve a plus
Comfortable using AI in your workflow and interested in learning more about using AI
Social media production fluency: capture, edit, post, write copy, manage accounts across platforms
Photography skills helpful
Bonus: familiar with streaming culture (Kick, Twitch) and creator economy
