This is gig work. It is one to three weeks every month or two. Depending on your availability, you might work the next installation and skip the one after that, then come back for the next one. We are flexible and understand the importance of communicating the install schedule so you can work around it with your schedule.
Responsibilities
Art Handling
De-install and install galleries with a team of fellow art handlers
Work with curators, and collections teams
Frame package preparation
Prepare galleries for demo
Prepare galleries for art install
Paint and patch
Gallery maintenance
Requirements
1 year prior job experience in art handling including art installation. Provide details of art handling experience on resume.
