Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities
Oversees all incoming/outgoing dock activity, to include:
Checking accessions/piece counts, observing condition, filling out paperwork, sending BOLs and photos for each activity, makes labels, records locations
Staging for upcoming releases
Maintains order and neatness throughout warehouse
Storage updates: notify and record changes to space occupied by storage clients each month
Ensures compliance with fire code access requirements at all times
Directs/assists with placement of storage coming in via cartage crews each day
Identifies and corrects issues with packing/placement of storage as observed during daily operations
Requirements
Forklift / scissor lift experience a plus.
2 years experience with an art shipping company or museum.
Must have warehouse or art handling logistics experience.
