Installation, packing and general handling of fine art in a variety of mediums under the direction of the Head Preparator.

Assisting the registrar with labeling artworks, performing condition reports, and the storage and organization of inventory.

Running various city-wide errands as needed.

Light carpentry, fabrication, and painting as needed.

Minimum 3 years experience at a museum, gallery or art shipping organization.

Expertise in art handling techniques, packing, crating and storing protocols, as well as gallery etiquette.

Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs.

Capacity to work independently and as a team with a good attitude and positive approach to problem-solving.

Experience with a wide range of media, including A/V equipment.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate an eye for detail, a strong sense of organization, and impeccable cleanliness and courtesy.
