New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is seeking temporary staff to fill Shipping Crew roles at this year’s NADA Miami. Candidates must capable of lifting heavy objects. Candidates will need to be available on-site in Miami from November 25 – December 4, 2022. Miami-based applicants are desirable.

Applicants will be interviewed virtually starting in mid-September, and positions will be filled on a rolling basis.

Responsibilities

Shipping Crew

Shipping Crew members are required on-site for additional dates both before and after the art fair. These positions involve a high degree of manual handling. These staff members are responsible for managing art shipments, directing drop offs, and moving empty crates and packing materials to “dead storage.” The shipping crew oversees NADA’s art storage area.

Ticketing / Check-In / VIP Desks

These staff members assist fair attendees with purchasing tickets and checking them into the fair. Applicants should be personable and friendly, have good interpersonal skills, and be willing to work with the public in a fast-paced environment. Ticketing staff members must be able to provide frontline customer service direct guests to restrooms, NADA Presents, specific exhibitors etc.

Requirements

All applicants must be legally allowed to work in the US and show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination.

Hourly rates start at $15/hour. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
