WelPak is a full-service Fine Art Moving, Storage and Logistics company located in Maspeth, Queens.
Ideal Warehouse candidates will be expected to have basic experience with the proper handling of high-end furniture, antiques and fine art.
Responsibilities
Warehouse responsibilities include but are not limited to: operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, gantries or similar equipment; dock work, including receiving/releasing, basic documentation skills and warehouse maintenance; inspection skills, including basic photography, condition reporting and packing; and the ability to safely handle a wide range of objects from delicate items to large crates. Teamwork is required. This is a full-time position, M-F, with salary commensurate with experience and available benefits.
Driver positions also available.
Requirements
Required skills similar to warehouse staff but also include maintaining a daily professional approach and positive attitude around clients, on-site flexibility regarding scheduling and assignments, and a CDL (commercial driver’s license). Please note: a higher pay scale applies to CDL-licensed drivers.
